Other duplicate finder apps I've tried have worked fine- they've missed some things, but they haven't tried to claim that every image in the folder is actually the same image. I'm running Big Sur on a mid-2014 macbook, if that makes a difference- but the app's website says the program was updated fairly recently, so I don't know what the problem could be. That's in a folder that includes gifs, images of black text on a white background, full color illustrations, etc.) I get similar results whether I set it to 98% image similarity or 7% image similarity. (For example, in a folder of 2000 images 1996 or so are supposed to be similar enough to be deleted.
